Due to the succesful tendering of South Tyneside and Gateshead Schools, our client is looking recruit an additional Contracts Manager to work on this project.

This is one of the largest projects to happen in Newcastle in recent years. A total value of just under £200m, this consists of a minimum of 14 schools and running for at least the next 6 years the venture provides stability as well as the opportunity to help run a large project.

The successful candidate will have to have worked at contract management level previously, ideally having experience of working within education schemes in the past, an engineering background and come from a project management background where they will have managed jobs in excess of £10m.

With responsible for numerous sites at any given time, you will liaise with the Project Managers, Clients and report to senior management / Directors.

An excellent package is available for this candidate, with a salary up to £55k plus car / car allowance, bupa. etc.
