A fantastic opportunity has become available with my client due to various new contracts being awarded.

This role bring with it fantastic variety and progression opportunities.

You will manage the daily operations of all projects and ventures under your control to ensure profitability and efficiency within established company guidelines and contractual 'service level agreements' and performance criteria and provide dedicated support to Contracts manager.

Monitor and requesition contact purchasing of materials, stock and sub-contractors to ensure timescales are not exceeded and operations comply with company purchasing.

Ensure compliance by all subordinate staff and sub-contractors of company health and safety, environmental and quality assurance policies and procedures.

To ensure documented site filing systems for each operational contract exists and is up to date.

Review training plans for site personnel, with respective supervisors to ensure satisfactory staff development addressing contract and employer strategic objectives.

To liaise with Contracts Manager in relation to implementation of training plans.

Attend contract meetings, as appropriate, and ensure implementation of action points.

Attend review meetings with Contracts Manager to ensure satisfactory management of contract costs / expenditure and site performance.

Assist in the recruitment of new site staff within key site based growth areas and share responsibility for their development, to identify succession plans for Key site team members and report to Contracts Manager.

Prepare and submit reports as appropriate to company requirement especially site diaries / visits, forecasts and activity reports / contract opportunities to Contracts Manager.

To assist in the identification of site business opportunities.

As a member of the operational team assist the Contracts Manager in managing and developing the Contract opportunities on a day to day and strategic level basis.

You will also assist on a monthly basis and thereby salient points (i.e. Quarterly), the Contracts Manager to achieve and report cash targets determined by the Operations / General Manager on your controlled contracts.
